WHERE art MEETS
CRAFT.
Handmade rugs from the carpet capital of the world — crafted with generations of skill, made for homes everywhere.
INDO.
India's rug-making tradition spans centuries. This is not industrial production — it is a pure art form passed down through families, villages, and generations of weavers in Bhadohi.
KNOTS.
Every single knot is a deliberate architectural act of patience, skill, and presence. It is the irreducible foundation of the craft, ensuring no two rugs are ever identical.
Born in Bhadohi.
Built on legacy.
S Kumar didn't choose Bhadohi — he was born into it. Growing up in the carpet capital of the world, the rhythms of the loom were as natural as language. What began as an inheritance of craft grew into a conviction: that the finest rugs in the world deserved to reach the finest homes in the world — directly, honestly, without the layers of middlemen that have long diluted both value and story.
Indo Knots is that conviction made real. A brand built at the source — in the workshops, with the artisans, using the same age-old techniques that have made Bhadohi synonymous with handmade excellence. Every rug that leaves our workshop carries not just a design, but a place, a person, and a process that cannot be replicated by machines.

One absolute standard of excellence.
Hand Tufted

A tufting gun drives yarn through a canvas backing by hand, allowing our artisans to render intricate patterns and textures with remarkable precision — ideal for bold, design-led pieces with rich pile and expressive character.
Hand Knotted

Each knot tied individually around the warp threads — by hand, one by one. The most demanding form of rug-making, producing pieces of extraordinary density, depth, and longevity. A true hand knotted rug is not made; it is built, over weeks or months, to last a lifetime.
A rug is a profound statement of presence.
It is an architectural connection — between past and present, between the hands that made it and the room that holds it. Our values are not merely aspirational. They are operational.
Craft preservation
We protect weaving traditions that are at risk of disappearing — not by putting them in a museum, but by keeping them commercially alive.
Artisan dignity
Fair wages, safe conditions, and proper attribution. The people behind each rug are partners, not invisible labour.
Responsible materials
Premium wool, natural fibres, and responsibly sourced materials — chosen for how they age, not just how they look on day one.
Global reach, local roots
We ship the craft of Bhadohi to homes worldwide — without losing the story, the soul, or the village it came from.
Each piece, a world.
